Vhong Navarro is new 'Mang Kepweng'

MANILA - Actor Vhong Navarro is the lead star of the upcoming movie "Mang Kepweng Returns."
The titular character, a funny quack doctor, was originally portrayed by the late comedian Chiquito in 1979.
On Instagram, actress Valeen Montenegro posted a photo of her with Navarro and Jaclyn Jose after a cast meeting for the upcoming movie.
"'Mang Kepweng Returns.' After meeting the cast, now I'm so excited to do this movie!" she wrote as the photo's caption.
In a previous interview, Navarro said that aside from the late comedy king Dolphy, he is also a fan of Chiquito.
