Japanese Interpreter and Translator

Location: Quezon City
Salary: P 35,000 – 60,000

The Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist as a written and spoken communication bridge between English and Japanese speaking clients, artists, producers and various stakeholders.
• Translate and interpret a variety of oral and written material, from Japanese to English and vice versa.
• With in-depth knowledge of the English language, and can translate Japanese messages to English translations.
• Advise the team members about matters of Japanese custom, culture and protocol when applicable.

Requirements:

 JLPT N3, N2 and N1 Passer
 Adequate fluency in written and spoken Japanese and English.
 Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
 As the person will work closely with directors, artists, animators and editors, knowledge and/or interest in the film and animation industry is an advantage
