Using pirated softwares for a starting business

I am planning to start a business on civil and architectural design ie interior design, floor plan layout

design, 3D modeling, structural design, etc.. which I had learn during my days of employment. I am

kinda short of capital to buy the full license which I think is not worth of investing given the uncertainty of my

success. Ethically speaking I know it's wrong to use pirated software,. but practically speaking, any

thoughts ?? Despite the tedious t&c we ought to read, is there really a risk of someone getting in prison for doing

so??
