Position purpose:
This role is primarily responsible for assisting the management of trust funds within Ascender. This role also supports and provides other administration requirements when needed.
Responsibilities:
Monitor trust receipts as per Funding request distributed to clients
Ensure timely update of expected funding request in general ledger
Ensure prompt and accurate allocation of trust and trade receipts in general ledger
Follow-up and clear unidentifiable trust receipts in a timely manner
Arrange upload of payment file for online banking or issuances of cheques
Ensure prompt and accurate update of payroll or statutory payments to individual trust accounts in general ledger
Perform bank reconciliation for trust bank accounts and individual trust accounts in general ledger » Prepare trust account reconciliation statement in a timely manner
Perform month end tasks on timely and accurate manner
Experience and qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of Treasury/Billing experience
Exposure to Global Billing is a plus
Intermediate to advance MS Excel skills
Competencies:
Strong Interpersonal Skills
Excellent in written and oral communication skills.
Sound logical thinking and problem solving ability
Good time management for meeting deadline
Good knowledge of basic accounting
Proficient in working with invoice and accounting system
