The Lady Maroons made their move to become relevant in UAAP Volleyball once again in Season 76, when they got champion hs coach Jerry Yee to head their volleyball program.
The UE-WVT followed suit by signing another champion hs coach Francis Vicente, hopeful that he could bring them out of the cellar as well.
Slowly shedding their reputation as the whipping girls of UAAP Volleyball, UE and UP have come a long way indeed. But before they could go any further this season, these two teams face each other on Saturday.
