Brandi Ann Nugent and Brenon Christopher Wilson exchanged wedding vows during a nuptial mass Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in New Iberia. The Rev. Matthew Higginbotham officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Nugent of New Iberia. Mrs. Nugent is the former Dodie Flores, daughter of Jeffery Flores and the late Shirlene Flores. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Wilson of New Iberia. Mrs. Wilson is the former Trina Romero, daughter of the late Carlton and Caroline Romero.
Escorted by her father, the bride was radiantly beautiful in an exquisite mermaid silhouette gown enhanced with handmade vintage lace and custom crystal beading. She wore a cathedral veil and carried a full bouque of ivory-colored roses with plum calla lillies.
Brittney Nugent, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Ashley Vardijian and Emily Lavergne. Flower girls were Kensley, Kaelyn and Kylee Vardijian.
Brodie Wilson, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen included Brandon Wilson and Dustin Romero. The ring bearer was Brock Nugent, brother of the bride.
