The Avenida, Recto, and Quiapo: Decay of Manila

I am from the South of Manila (Alabang and Las Pinas).
My daily routines: Makati, Quezon City, Ayalabang (Madrigal Center).
Shops at Greenbelt, MOA, SM North, and Robinsons Manila.

A month ago, I went Avenida and to avoid traffic, I used LRT and MRT.
I was so surprised with the deterioration ng Avenida, Recto and Quiapo.
Parang TWILIGHT ZONE
I was so speechless.

Bakit ganito ganun,
eh Manila ito, the nation's capital ?

Any update as to any plan ng Manila City Hall
or our National Government?

Wala bang grand plan mga architects natin dito
the likes of Bobby Manosa, Coscolluela?
They have to save the buildings in Avenida constructed by their masters
like Juan Nakpil, Pablo Antonio, Leandro Locsin and the likes

University Belt is just a s block away from Recto and Avenida
These 3 places are very disgusting and dangerous -
polluted air, dilapidated buildings and undescribeable people

My personal insight: alisin na yung Manila City Jail sa Recto.
Convert sa park.

Any update? personal insight or suggestion?
