"JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Reviews current processes of the company and evaluates the operational requirements versus current IT capabilities to determine possible areas for automation and/or process improvements with the assistance of IT systems;
2. Assesses the effectiveness of technology resources already in use or new systems that are being implemented to ensure that their usefulness are being maximized;
4. Assesses potential risks and technical challenges and prepares mitigation plans;
5. Works with external partners, including consultants and vendors, to develop and implement the most appropriate system/s or integration of multiple system/s to address the organizations requirements;
6. Maintains and ensures system capabilities by conducting preventive maintenance and regularly tests computer components;
7. Stays up-to-date on emerging technologies that may be implemented in the organization;
8. Maintains, monitors and ensures the availability of internet or network connections at all times;
9. Conducts training for employees on the proper use of the computer, both hardware and software;
10. Oversees the daily performance of all computer systems;
11. Assists in the development and enhancement of IT systems;
12. Recommends process improvements to ensure system reliability, security, integrity and performance;
13. Refers major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for proper servicing;
14. Reviews the Help Desk Tracking System report to analyze the usual IT tickets being raised and looks into and addresses root causes;
15. Creates IT process flow chart for organizational standards and IT manuals and presentations for training purposes;
16. Performs other tasks as directed from time to time.
