LibreTarian (I just made it up :glee:) n. etymology ironic pun of "libre" ('free' alternate of Spanish 'gratis') + "libertarian" (fiscal conservatives/government laissez faire-an, people who advocate for less government intervention in social, economic facets of citizens' lives) = people who advocate for govt. to give large subsidies to many citizen's daily needs oftentimes as a form of wealth distribution (ie taking away from the 'wealthy' to give to the 'poor').
Synonyms: Communists, socialists, welfare state, "Keynesian"
Lately maraming movements sa Pinas na nagadmonish ng ibat ibang programa regarding govt subsidies and laws to allow govt to spend on social programs.

A. Eh maliit lang yaaan compared to the curacotz! Dapat lahat owned by the government + everything is free. We deserve it. #FreeLunch

C. I am for partial government subsidies for social safety net (ie for the extreme poor) but some of these are just way too expensive. #DiscountCard
D. That's how politicians get voted: the more money you give away = the more voters you get next election. #BreadNCircus
E. It's fair naman, it will balance out for the good of the economy in the future because poor = consumers. #WeakestLink
F. The government should focus as little a possible, minimize taxes or make taxation tied to a specific spending (when taxes collected exceed expectation refund it back to the tax payers) only the necessary like education, public safety, defense, infrastructure should be regulated by govt., encourage public sector to spend more, lower govt. social spending and let free market dictate growth that will spread around. #TrickleDownEffect

J. In the end and reality the people that benefit most from these social programs aren't the poor but the rich. Example is PhilHealth. The execution of laws are often in the details. Think about it: ang mahirap kahit 'free tuition' hindi pa din nakukuha kasi they are force to work anyway (think about it, public education is free, but there are still many children who don't graduate HS) #TheyDontGiveAFckAboutUs
