RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages the Oracle e-business suite release 12.
Execute the following activities:
o Database refresh to non-production DB

o Daily database health check monitoring, tuning and minor SQL reviews

o Capacity planning and execution

o Quarterly access review

o Database optimization

o Database security admin

o Deployments to production

o Performance test planning and execution

o Apply patches as mandated by project/vendor

o Monitor and fix table locking/blocking; monitor alerts and fix issues

o Creates, updates delete SSI packages and stored procedures

o Cloning Oracle applications using rapid clone

o Patching Oracle applications using adpatch

o Performing database upgrades, including upgrading Oracle applications from 11i to R12

o Setting up multi-tier Oracle Application environment

o Installing/upgrading/administering Oracle RAC databases

o Cloning databases from RAC to NON RAC

o Set up and administer ASM

o Back-up and recovery of Oracle databases using RMAN utility

o Unix Shell scripting/SQL/PL SQL


QUALIFICATION:
Minimum of 8 years experience as Oracle Applications DBA
Experience using Oracle e-Business Suite Release 12
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Equivalent
