Job Profile: Carrier Relations Management
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend meetings with the sales consultant and potential clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensure that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution
Provide technical solutions and proposals in a professional format and within agreed timeframes
Negotiate the best pricing with carrier partners to achieve competitive rates that will help close deals
Validate and provide accurate quotations and/or contracts to the sales consultant or to potential customers directly
Properly endorse closed sales to the internal post-sales Project Management team and ensure that comprehensive notes and order requirements are logged in to the company database
Deliver training on solutions and provide realtime product and pricing support to internal Sales team
Closely work with CPOA team in identifying challenges and create improvement plans to address those challenges. Ensures that recommendations and resources are proactively provided to correct broken process to improve to company performance and client, partners and vendor experience.
Regularly holds checkpoint meetings, communicating and setting priorities for the clients, partners and vendor
Prepare and present regular reporting on pre-sales activities
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize accordingly
Communicate with US-based channel managers, customer/s, vendors, and manufacturers
Track progress of quotations and contracts and identify and resolve outstanding issues
Experience in team management and working towards common goals
Demonstrate leadership skills to allocate internal resources, external vendors, sales and all functional departments as well as business partners and vendors
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with global business demands
Telecom and CRM systems knowledge and experience is a plus
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with team members at all levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superior attention to detail, problem solving, and organization fluency is strongly desired
Knowledge of PC, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access and Power Point
QUALIFICATIONS
University degree required
1-3 years of project management
Telecommunications experience preferred
Basic knowledge of Internet Protocol Networks (IPN)
Cisco certification/s a plus (not required)
LAN/WAN topology experience and knowledge a plus
