Forget the Catholic theologians in this forum who quote verses like any bible-thumping Evangelicals. I am referring to the Catholic faithful of Cebu who believe that the water oozing from the walls of the Santo Nino chapel is NOT miraculous water. While miracle cures indeed happened, it could not be because God deigned to give graces through oozing walls.
Authorities have already said that the water is positive for e.Coli, a microbe that has one main source - human feces. Yuck! The more scientific explanation of the oozing wall is a leaking toilet near the chapel. Double Yuck!
Big mystery: why didn't the Cebu Archdiocese bring down the hammer on this delusion? Also, why can't the authorities **** down, este, shut down the area as a health risk site?
