"JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Acts as a business partner to Management and understands the requirement of the organization and creates/ develops the necessary HR programs that would equip the employees with the skills and competencies, as well as the right attitude and work ethics, that would support the attainment of the companys vision and business objectives;
2. Provides guidance and strategic directions to the HR staff to ensure that they are able to provide and address the HR requirements of the employee force;
3. Acts as liaison between Management and the employees and looks into ways to address issues and concerns raised by both parties;
4. Develops and implements an effective performance management system that would objectively reward good performance and provides the necessary consequences for poor performance;
5. Develops and implements an effective career management/development program to support the requirements of the organization;
6. Reviews and, if necessary, creates, deletes or updates personnel policies and procedures to ensure that the programs are compliant to regulatory requirement and labor laws, aligned with existing business/market practices, and supports the requirements of the organization;
7. Acts as subject matter expert in the interpretation of HR programs and practices; Looks into the skills levels of the employees and recommends the training and developmental programs/activities for them to be equipped with the skills and competencies necessary for their roles/responsibilities in the organization;
9. Spearheads employee relations activities to develop a culture of belongingness in the organization and cultivates a sense of engagement from the employees;
10. Regularly reviews the organization structure and delineation of roles to ensure that they are fair, equitable and clear to all concerned;
11. Provides counseling to employees and responds / addresses complex queries and concerns;
12. Ensures consistency in the timeliness and quality of the delivery of HR services such as recruitment, compensation and benefits administration, training and development, employee and labor relations, HR records and files, etc.;
13. Looks into and recommends possible process improvements to further improve operational efficiency in HR;
14. Conducts warehouse visits to ascertain the compliance of warehouse employees to processes and other rules of the company;
15. Directly handles the labor relations function of HR;
16. Prepares and issues Notices to Explain (NTE);
17. Analyzes, investigates and implements the appropriate Disciplinary Actions (DA);
18. Keeps Management updated on issues affecting the employee force
19. Performs other tasks as directed from time to time."
